Autumn Hydrangea Hand Dyed Merino Yarn Worsted Weight
Autumn Hydrangea 165 yards 2.5 ounces Yarn
This yarn is spun from Merino wool. Merino wool is the softest wool fiber available and is very nice against the skin. The weight is Worsted with a gauge of 4-5 stitches to the inch on size 8 needles American. Yardage is 165 yards approx. Skein weight 2.5oz. approx.
The yarn is hand dyed by me in my lab just outside Phoenix, AZ. The color way Autumn Hydrangea is inspired by the purple hydrangea and the color range they display during their bloom. The color way is a mix of soft greens and purples. I think it looks very much like the Hydrangea flower in the early fall when they finish their show.
